Suspect(s) Unknown - We need your help!
Police say they are looking for information after a goat was stolen from a pen and killed in Harbeson on Thursday.
Delaware State Police responded to a burglary and report of animal cruelty in the 18000 Block of Harbeson Road. According to investigators, unknown suspects entered a goat pen and removed a 5-year-old goat, which apparently struggled.
The unknown suspects then slit the throat, killing the goat and left the carcass in the driveway, police say.
Police say a further check of the property found a dead 4-month old goat outside of the pen with the cause of death unknown.
