Dayton, OH (US)

Incident Date: Sunday, Jul 27, 2008
County: Montgomery

Charges: Felony CTA
Disposition: Alleged

Alleged: Venson Lee Roberson

A Montgomery County Grand Jury has indicted 24-year-old Venson Roberson on six counts of dogfighting.

Authorities said they recently found injured pitbull dogs at Roberson's Derby Road home, all with signs that they had been forced to fight. They also said they found dog-fighting equipment.

Dayton police also said that Roberson maintained a dog fighting website. They said it was disguised as a kennel site, but used to advertise pit bulls on sale for fighting.
