Case Report

Mr. Hooven trapped a stray cat in a humane box trap and then drowned the cat in the apartment complex swimming pool. Mr. Hooven was arrested by the Palm Springs Animal Control for the crime. In January 2003, Mr. Hooven accepted a plea agreement with the Riverside County District Attorney's Office for probation and restitution.
