Case ReportA couple from Greater Manchester has been banned for life from keeping any animals after they admitted causing unnecessary suffering to their St Bernard dog.
Five-year-old Neika had severe hair loss, ringworm, lice infestation, open sores, scabs, eye and ear problems and was very underweight when the RSPCA found him.
Mr Raymond, 55, was sentenced to a 180-hour community punishment order and was ordered to pay �500 costs. Mrs Raymond, 45, was fined �750 and ordered to pay �500 costs.
