Convicted: Puppy mill - nearly 100 dogs

Sentence: Judge Bell ordered Scott to pay restitution for the care of the 42 dogs that have been at the county animal shelter since Scott was charged in September. The rest of the dogs are being kept in foster care and with pet rescue groups. Bell said Scott will have to pay $32,026 to the Robeson County pound and $6,478.33 to reimburse the county's Animal Cruelty Division for veterinary bills.... more...
