Sentence: According to court records, Juan Laboy pleaded guilty to one misdemeanor count of animal cruelty and a municipal charge of having a dangerous or aggressive animal.

As part of his plea agreement, Laboy is prohibited from owning more than one animal. He was sentenced to a 90-day suspended jail sentece and two years of probation. He also must pay fines and restitution.
