Convicted: Cat stabbed to death during domestic dispute

Sentence: On May 14, 2008 In Phillipsburg Municipal Court Mr. Donny Varlgas pled guilty to needlessly killing a living animal. He was charged $2000 in fines plus $3,749.00 restitution to the Washington Animal Hospital who attempted to save the cat’s life and $390 in restitution to NJSPCA. Mr. Varlgas was also as given a 30 day jail sentence.
