Sentence: A five-year prison term with two of those years suspended was handed to Pickett after he changed his plea to guilty during a hearing for animal cruelty charges filed against him in Feb 2007.

The sentence also applied to Pickett’s conviction back in 2003 for kidnapping, which came after an altercation with his wife.

Also a part of Pickett’s plea agreement was an order for him to undergo drug rehabilitation and treatment, in addition to an anger management program.

Two misdemeanor counts of recklessly handling a firearm were dismissed in Pickett’s case.... more...
