Family of ducks intentionally run over

Beaverton police said a 20-year-old man has been charged with animal abuse after they said he intentionally ran over a family of ducks.

According to Paul Wandell of the Beaverton Police Department, Daniel Buck killed three ducks when he went to visit his girlfriend at her place of employment at Stream International.

Police said the employees rushed to Buck's truck and wrote down his license plate number before calling 911.

Employees said the ducks were like pets to the company and were fairly calm around people.

Buck was taken into custody and officially charged with animal abuse in the first degree.
