6 puppies abandoned, resulting in death North Little Rock, AR (US)Incident Date: Monday, Nov 6, 2006 County: Pulaski
Disposition: Open
Suspect(s) Unknown - We need your help!
Six puppies were left out in the rain in a box overnight -- just steps away from the North Little Rock Animal Shelter's covered porch.
Two were dead when Grace found the box on the morning of Nov 6 -- and Grace says it was too late to save the other four as well.
"If they`d just put them under the porch, we may have had to put them to sleep anyway because we`re so full right now, but at least they wouldn`t have had to die a horrible death the way they did," Grace said. Grace also said cases like this only happen because people fail to see the importance of spaying or neutering their pets.
The box left at the shelter had the name "Bethanie" written on it.
The animal shelter is offering a $200 reward for information leading to an arrest in this case -- call the shelter at 501-791-8577 if you can help. References « More cases in Pulaski County, AR
