Police are investigating a case of animal abuse after two cats were found in Salt Lake County.

Two healthy cats were found shot to death. The felines' bodies were found on Aug 3 at the Magna Cemetery. Investigators believed they might have been killed for revenge.

An autopsy showed the cats were otherwise healthy and died from the gunshots.
