A Utah man accused of getting drunk, attacking his neighbors and even their pets is now in the Utah County Jail. According to residents of the trailer park in Provo Canyon, Dempsey Brown, 28, simply exited his trailer and went on an assault spree.
Leon Frazier, the trailer park's manager said, He went to this trailer... making a big fist, saying 'Navaho nation!'"
Officials say Brown had just moved into the trailer park last week.
"He was shoving me, trying to grab me trying to grab me on the neck," said resident Cody Taylor.
Witnesses say Brown even went around punching animals and breaking into other trailers.
"There was an axe stuck in the tree...[he] pulled it out and came out into the middle [of the park]," said one resident.
"I was totally shocked when he came in," Frazier said. "He was quiet, he was soft-spoken and seemed like a very nice guy."
A short time later, police arrested Brown and charged him with eight different criminal counts including assault, animal cruelty, public intoxication and possession of a weapon. Neighborhood MapFor more information about the Interactive Animal Cruelty Maps, see the map notes.
