County: Roanoke CityDisposition: Alleged
Alleged: Greg Martin
Veterinarians say a dog is poisoned with anti-freeze now an area man is facing charges. Sherri Givens dog had to be put to sleep after it drank anti-freeze.
Authorities believe her neighbor, Greg Martin, placed the anti freeze where Givens' dogs would drink it.
"If you don't like animals that's fine you don't have to have any but don't kill mine because I love them.", says Givens. Martin denies poisoning the dog. "Would I leave a pot of poison sitting on my property for the law to find?", says Martin.
Martin is charged with a felony. His court date is in July 2006.

Note: Classifications and other fields should not be used to determine what specific charges the suspect is facing or was convicted of - they are for research and statistical purposes only. The case report and subsequent updates outline the specific charges. Charges referenced in the original case report may be modified throughout the course of the investigation or trial, so case updates, when available, should always be considered the most accurate reflection of charges.
