Daniel J. Hollenkamp, 22, was charged with aggravated animal cruelty, a Class 4 felony (up to 3 yrs. prison and $25,000 fine). He threw a 14-week old puppy off a bridge with a minimum drop of 70 feet drop. This happened in Quincy, IL on Feb. 20th or 21st. He is a student at Quincy University and is from Carlyle, IL. Case UpdatesHollenkamp pled not guilty, and is scheduled to stand trial June 9 in Adams County Circuit Court. He faces up to three years in prison and a $25,000 fine.

The National Executive Council of Alpha Delta Gamma has suspended all members of the Quincy University chapter and evicted them from the on-campus residence. Hollenkamp was removed as fraternity president last week. The St. Louis-based fraternity suspended all members of the chapter and will establish a new chapter executive board by March 31. In the interim, the chapter � which has about 25 members � will be governed by a nine-member committee of chapter alumni.
