A canine is the victim in a disturbing case of cruelty. A miniature pincher named Rusty was found dead on June 22, having been impaled by a 42-inch, iron fence on Parent Street in Roxbury.
Investigators from the Animal Rescue League say the incident was no accident.
The owner, who had Rusty stolen from his Dorcester home on April 17, only discovered the death of the dog after hearing the report on the local news. He along with his two, young sons are devastated by this loss.
No witnesses have come forward. Investigators are still searching for the canine killers.
