Police charged a 35-year-old man with animal cruelty after he left his 4-month-old Beagle insider a locked Toyota SUV in the parking lot at Best Buy, 21035 Biscayne Blvd., at 12:15 p.m. May 29. Police said a witness pointed out the puppy and when they got to it, it was gasping for air. Police found the owner of the puppy and arrested him after Best Buy staff located him through the store intercom speaker.
