A woman who was apparently high on crack cocaine is facing 33 years in prison for attacking a Waukesha couple in their kitchen early on the morning of June 11 with a pooper scooper and scissors.

John and Linda Dormer were awakened about 4:30 a.m. Sunday by the barking of their Shih Tzu. Upon entering their kitchen, they found a woman swinging a metal pooper scooper she had apparently found at a neighbor's house. Police reports say that she was rambling "They drugged me. They are going to kill me. I'm going to kill you".

Leisa Reed, 47, allegedly first kicked the dog and then hit John Dormer on the side of his head with the pooper scooper and then grabbed two pairs of scissors that she found in the kitchen.

It took five officers and a Taser gun to subdue the 5 foot, 105 pound woman. She did not know the Dormers. The police report says that when officers arrived, they found Reed foaming at the mouth and struggling with the homeowner. When an initial zap with the Taser didn't seem to affect Reed, officers called for backup and she was zapped twice more before being subdued.

She's been charged with two felonies and three misdemeanors including armed burglary with a pooper scooper and second degree recklessly endangering safety as well as animal abuse. She is lodged in the Waukesha County Jail in lieu of $4,999 bail.

She told officers she had had a 12-ounce can of beer and had smoked $40 worth of cocaine earlier in the evening. She says she has no recollection of being in the Dormer home.
