The discovery of 12 dead animals at an area home sends a woman to jail. It happened in Liberty County. Authorities say Cathryn Mathewson is now charged with animal cruelty. They say Mathewson did not live in the house where the animals were found but that she did own it. They say the animals died from starvation.
