People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) is offering a reward after two dogs were poisoned in Anne Arundel County.
PETA said a yellow Labrador retriever named Sophie was euthanized after she and her black Labrador companion became sick after being poisoned with antifreeze on May 17. The dogs' owners found a dog biscuit in their back yard that was saturated with a fluorescent yellow liquid.
Police have yet to make any arrests in the case. PETA is offering as much as $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for this crime.
