Adams, age 24, of 13515 Thonotosassa Rd. was arrested on animal cruelty charges after his mother reported him to the Sheriff's office.

The Sheriff's investigation revealed that 2 of the kittens had been stomped, then smashed against a brick wall. The 2 others had been blasted with a 12-guage shotgun.

Adams has been charged with a 3^rd degree felony, which is punishable by up to 5 years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
