Abuser names unreleased
Chimo, a 2 year old dog, had been tied up to a cart's wheel for his entire life. A volunteer from León's shelter spotted the neglected animal and reported the case to the police (Guardia Civil) and the local shelter. The abuser was reluctant to give away the dog to the authorities.
Chimo was tied up with a less than 50 cm rotten rope that cause an infected wound around his neck and was deprived of walks, food and water most of the time. The abuser was accused with cruelty to animals and neglect and we are expecting the final sentence.
