Investigators were trying to figure out who shot and killed a dog in Loveland. A miniature pinscher named Taffy ran away from home on Monday, but searchers found her two hours later on nearby railroad tracks. She had a broken leg and two bullet wounds.
Joyce Moore, Taffy's owner, said they first thought the dog broke her leg and that someone had used a gun to put her down. Police believe it's a case of animal cruelty. The Moore's said their other dog, Coco, seems lost without her buddy.
