Vivo the pointer, was starved and left to die after his owner (a hunter) had no more use for him. Abandoning dogs after making profit out of them is a quite common practice in Spain. Vivo was recued by a shelter called Protectora San Bernardo and was scheduled to be sent to a loving home in Germany, but he was so malnourished and in such bad shape that the veterinarian was forced to put him to sleep.
