An alleged dog-fighting ring was broken up on the afternoon of May 25. Eight dogs were taken from a house on Miller Avenue. The dogs' owner showed the local media the kennels and said she has a license to breed the dogs. The woman said the dogs were not mistreated, and she plans to get them back.
