Over a dozen dead and dying dogs found

After receiving complaints of a foul smell, Edgecombe County deputies say they found more than a dozen dead and dying dogs inside the home of Belinda Ann Haddock. Haddock, now, faces seven counts of felony and misdemeanor animal cruelty charges. Her bond is set at $7,000. Seven starving dogs were taken to the county animal shelter.
