Dogs stolen from yards
Boiling Springs, SC (US)

Incident Date: Tuesday, Mar 28, 2006
County: Spartanburg

Disposition: Open

Suspect(s) Unknown - We need your help!

It's tough to find a traffic sign or mailbox in the Boiling Springs community that isn't covered with signs. "I've just been praying every night she'll come home," said Vera Livingston, who was talking about the reason she hung the signs, her missing pooch, Pandee. "She's 10 years old," said Livingston. "She's a black and white lopso opso and she has a little cherry eye."

Another lost dog sign is posted for the dog that belongs to Livingston's neighbor, Jodi Wiles.
"Brown and tan chihuahua," described Wiles. "He's a year old. Male, he's not neutered." He goes by the name Brewser. His owner, along with Pandee's, said both disappeared a week ago in similar situations. "Pandee ran outside to use the bathroom and she always comes back in," said Livingston. "Well, my sister turned around and said let me let Pandee in and Pandee never come in." "He never showed up that night and I was like that's not like him," said Wiles. "He don't leave the yard. So I knew something was wrong then."

And there were other missing animals; five bulldogs. That's why the signs are now up around town. "Then I saw Vera's signs about her laso opso and then I saw the bulldogs signs," said Wiles. "And something's not right. Something's going on. All these little dogs missing at the same time."

As for the five missing bulldogs, two have been found and returned to their owner. She tells me their tails were cut and they were being sold as boxers.
