Dog found with tail almost ripped off

7:50 p.m., 500 block 46th St. A black Labrador retriever was found with it's tail nearly "ripped off," according to dispatch reports. The animal was taken to an emergency veterinarian who amputated the rest of the tail. The dog was taken to the Lane County Animal Regulatory Authority.
