The Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) is offering a reward of up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for shooting a Brittany spaniel named "Caswell" in Guntersville, Ala. on April 6, 2006.

According to police reports and Caswell's owners, the dog did not return home after he was let out outside. His concerned owners searched for him all night. Caswell's body was discovered, fatally shot, the next morning behind the Grace Church.

The Marshall County sheriff's office is investigation this case. Anyone with information should call 256-582-2034.
