Alleged: Troy Glover

A Sumner County horse was found nearly starved to death and his owner now faces charges of animal cruelty. The horse was found to be 500 pounds underweight and his ribs could be seen from the road near his pasture. The horse is now in the care of Volunteer Equine Advocates.

Troy Glover, 30, his owner, has been charged with the crime. If convicted, Glover could face up to a year in jail, monetary fines and be restricted from owning horses again.
