A thief was caught on tape stealing two pit bulls from a Florida animal shelter, authorities said. Animal control officers in Palm Beach County want to know who stole the dogs from their overnight drop box.

Authorities said the dogs were dropped off during the night of April 9. Security video shows someone going into the cage and taking the dogs. The legal owner of the dogs was located and he wants his dogs returned.

Officers are worried the pit bulls were taken for dog fighting
