A retriever/shepherd mix dog found with a metal choke collar that had cut more than 2 in. into the dog's neck and chest, exposing its trachea.

The state humane agent at 207-287-3846. The Kennebec Valley Humane Society and the Maine Friends of Animals are offering a $2000 reward for information leading to the conviction of the person(s) responsible
