A Danville Area Humane Society official says authorities found an injured, emaciated pit bull abandoned in a house on Lee St�April 19. The dog was emaciated, missing several teeth and suffering from facial wounds. The dog also appeared to have an embedded collar.�Executive director Paulette Dean says the animal had to be euthanized.� No further information is available at this time.
