A Danville Area Humane Society official says authorities found an injured, emaciated pit bull abandoned in a house on Lee St April 19. The dog was emaciated, missing several teeth and suffering from facial wounds. The dog also appeared to have an embedded collar. Executive director Paulette Dean says the animal had to be euthanized.  No further information is available at this time.
