A. David Bandy, 54, who teaches biology at Willow Glen High School and has been a judge for the Cat Fancier Association was arrested at his home.
He was originally charged with felonies in connection with discovery of 46 Persian cats in his backyard that were suffering from a variety of ailments in his San Jose's eastern foothills home. Bandy pleaded no contest to lesser charges in connection with his sideline of breeding and judging speciality cats.
