The El Paso Police Department is investigating one of the latest cases of animal cruelty.

A KFOX camera caught up with officers after 9 pm. April 2, after finding the body of a dog that appears to have been beaten and burned in the 4500 block of Sue Hall at the Sherman Apartments.

No details on the case are being released at this time.
