When a new home owner bought some propery in Ferndale, she did not expect to find what see found.  Out back were 33 dead rabbits and 37 carcasses on the property in Ferndale, off Kanis Road on Live Oaks Drive.

Investigators found piles of trash and feces several feet deep inside the home. Out back, they found 33 dead rabbits. Most were just piles of bones. In all, they found 37 carcasses on the property. These animals were trapped in area where they could not get loose and fend for themselves.  All the animals died from thirst and starvation.
