(5/21/2004) The 1" * 1" divider wire on the south side of the shelter building, dividers 2 & 3, 3 & 4, and 4 & 5 from the east are rusty and in need of being replaced. The rusty surface does not allow for proper cleaning and could injure the animals by coming apart. The surface could allow for disease or harbor micro-organisms, which could affect the health of 10 animals.

Pen 3 on the south side of the shelter building, from the west, has a 1' by 2' hole in the plastic, which is in need of repair. The surface exposed by the plastic does not allow for proper cleaning and could affect the health of 1 animal by disease.

(5/21/2004) Several wood whelping boxes are chewed and scratched, which does not allow for proper cleaning of the surface and could affect the health of 50 animals by harboring micro-organisms. The whelping boxes are in need of being replaced with a surface impervious to moisture.

(5/21/2004) The outdoor white dog house paint was observed coming off during the inspection. The dog house is in need of painting, so the surface can be properly cleaned. This could affect the health of 1 animal by disease or harboring micro-organisms.

(5/21/2004) The inside surface, of the metal doors, has a brown film on the doors, which is in need of cleaning. The brown film could harbor micro-organisms and affect the health of 69 animals.

(5/21/2004) The area underneath the runs, on the north side of the shelter building, has fecal matter, which is grey to brown in color. The fecal matter is, also producing an odor. The fecal matter and fluid waste is in need of removal, so to prevent disease to 40 animals.

(6/27/2002) From the east, pens 2, 3, 4, & 5, on the south side of the shelter building have a gap that is in need of repair. This gap is 1" wide and is 2' long for each run. This gap allows for the animals feet to pass though and is locate where the expanded metal and solid plastic flooring meet. This effects 6 animals. This could injure the animals.

(6/25/2001) On the north side of the shelter building, the 10 pens for the east, have expanded metal flooring that is rusty and broken. This expanded metal is in need of being replaced. This effects 10 animals.

(6/25/2001) On the south side of the building from the east pens 6 & 7 have wire divider fence that is broken and rusty loosing structural strength. The wire is in need of repair. This effects 5 animals.

(6/25/2001) On the south side of the shelter building from the west pens 5 & 6 have wood supports that are rotten and in need of repair. Also, the expanded metal is rusty and loosing structural strength. This effects 10 animals.

(6/25/2001) On the north side of the shelter building is in need of additional drainage. Their was an odor present during the inspection. Too, their is flies that are attached to the area. This effects 10 animals.

(6/25/2001) On the south side of the shelter building from the east pens 4,5,6,7,8, and 11 have doors that are chewed and in need of repair. this effects 10 animals.

(6/25/2001) On the south side of the shelter building 3 pen from the east metal door insert is rusty and broken. This effects 2 animals.

(6/25/2001) The wood dog house with the two retired dogs has wood that is rotten and is in need of wood treatment.
