Remember the man accused of having sex with a hog? He showed up in court Thursday without his shoes.

Sixty two year old James Reynolds was actually due in court in Bainbridge Wednesday on animal cruelty and beastiality charges. But he failed to show up. Police picked him up Thursday and he refused to put on his shoes.

"He is a criminal, that abuses animals, children, other adults, he's just a sick and twisted individual that needs to be taken off the streets," said Joseph Mulholland, District Attorney.

In March, Reynolds was accused of climbing the fence of a Decatur County livestock yard and having sex with the hog. Prosecutors say it wasn't his first arrest on charges of having sex with an animal.

Thursday, a superior court judge made no ruling after hearing arguments from both sides in the felony bench trial.
