Polk County deputies arrested a man on animal-neglect charges on March 3 after officials found three dead horses and three others in poor health at his rural residence this week.
Raymond Willson II, 62, who lives on rural Elliott Road, faces six counts each of first- and second-degree animal neglect, said Dean Bender of the Polk County Sheriff's Office. The charges are misdemeanors.
