Lisa A. Wooley, owner of a house at 1583 Aberdeen Avenue will have cruelty charges filed against her after a veterinarian's report is filed.

Seven animals were removed yesterday from her home. The Capital Area Humane Society picked up six cats and one dog at the house. All the animals were said to be in fair condition and will be housed at the Northwest Side shelter until the case is resolved.

Kerry Manion, animal control officer, said the conditions in the home were reported to the shelter last week by a neighbor. Animal feces were observed inside the home and mail was accumulated in the mail box. Manion posted notice on Saturday asking the owner to contact the shelter regarding animal neglect. He posted a second notice on Monday.

A warrant signed by Judge Richard Pfeiffer of Franklin County Environmental Court allowed the humane officers to pick up the animals.
