Puppy found burned using an accelerant
Bayou La Batre, AL (US)

Incident Date: Tuesday, Jan 31, 2006
County: Mobile

Disposition: Open

Suspect(s) Unknown - We need your help!

In Bayou La Batre, an undercover detective showed us where he recently found the burned body of a puppy in the carport of a vacant home. "I observed a puppy with burns to half of its body. I really wouldn't like to get into graphic nature of it but there was an accelerant found near the puppy." The words "HE'S DEAD" were written on the wall next to the scene. Another puppy from the same litter was found dead nearby. Neighbors say they remember about 9 puppies in the litter. So far, two are dead. The other seven are nowhere to be found. Across south Mobile County, the hunt is on to find those responsible for abusing puppies.
