Robert Snyder, 23 of 702 Duane Street, Glen Ellyn, has been charged with confining an animal in a motor vehicle last week.
When an officer saw the 1993 Mercury Cougar parked at the Oakbrook Center, a shopping mall near Chicago, he noticed two windows rolled down about 3 inches. When the officer checked the inside of the car, he discovered the interior temperature to be 112 degrees.
The dog was given water and taken to the Hinsdale Humane Shelter. The owner later reclaimed the dog after posting a bond on the charge. Neighborhood MapFor more information about the Interactive Animal Cruelty Maps, see the map notes.
