Beating ferret to death after attempting to flush it down toilet - (St. Louis, MO - US) Crime Date: 02/08/2003 Case Status: Alleged
Case ReportStefan Albrecht (age 36), an airline passenger who was told he couldn't take his ferret on an airplane is accused of beating the animal to death in an airport restroom. Police said the man had the ferret in a cooler on an American Airlines flight from New York.
Flight attendants realized he had the animal and told him he could not take it on his next flight. He's accused of trying to flush the ferret down a toilet during a layover in St. Louis, then beating it to death.
Warrant information filed by prosecutors says Albrecht admitted to several people at an American Airlines gate Feb. 7 that he had broken the ferret's neck and flushed it down a toilet in the Lambert Field terminal. References |
