A dead puppy was left on the front porch of a 17 year old boy who lives on the 1500 block of West 50th Avenue. The police report states the unidentified suspect is a 15 year old girl who was allegedly spurned by her 17 year old boyfriend and left the dead puppy with a slit throat on his porch.

Tucked under the dog's body was an obscene note that read, "Don't f--- with my love - first warning."

The unidentified 15 year old girl who lives in Lakewood remains at large.

The 17 year old boy had dated the girl for a few months. The boy broke off the relationship. On Sunday "several threatening messages" were left on his pager. It is believed the dead puppy and the bloodstained note were left at the boy's home sometime between 10 p.m. midnight Sunday.

The police think the puppy was taken to the porch alive because they didn't find any blood elsewhere on the property. The police believe the suspect slit the puppy's throat and left it on the porch.

The puppy's throat was slit with an "unknown sharp object" and a large pool of blood was left on the porch.
