more information on voting
When you vote, you are voting on whether or not the punishment fit the crime, NOT on the severity of the case itself. If you feel the sentence was very weak, you would vote 1 star. If you feel the sentence was very strong, you would vote 5 stars.
Please vote honestly and realistically. These ratings will be used a a tool for many future programs, including a "Peoples Choice" of best and worst sentencing, DA and judge "report cards", and more. Try to resist the temptation to vote 1 star on every case, even if you feel that 100 years in prison isnt enough.

Dog intentionally starved to death Camden, NJ (US)Incident Date: Thursday, Jan 31, 2002 County: Camden
Disposition: Convicted Case Images: 1 files available
Defendant/Suspect: Delynne Wynn
A Camden woman who abandoned a dog that was later found dead has been fined $500. Delynne Wynn, 45, of the 3200 block of Saunders Street, also was assessed unspecified municipal court costs, said Matt Stanton, spokesman for the state Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
Authorities contacted Wynn in January 2002 regarding her male Labrador-chow mix, who neighbors said had been neglected, Stanton said. Wynn set the dog loose because she could no longer take care of it and then refused to help animal control officers capture the dog so it could be treated and put up for adoption, authorities said. The dog was found dead of apparent starvation three weeks later in a vacant lot across from Wynn's home. References« NJ State Animal Cruelty Map « More cases in Camden County, NJ
