26 goats fatally shot at point blank range

Deputies with the Waller County Sheriff's Department are investigating the deaths of 26 goats on a ranch in Magnolia. Ranchers found 13 of the goats dead at the G Bar B Goat Ranch on Jan 31, 2006.

After the ranchers moved 13 other goats into the same corral, the ranchers found them shot to death on Feb 3, 2006.

Investigators said all of the goats were shot in the face.

The few surviving goats had been moved to another location and the ranchers said they are installing cameras to catch the animal killers.

The owners of the goats are offering a $500 reward for information that leads authorities to the killer.
