The Dona Ana County Sheriff's Department is asking for your help to find whoever's responsible for an animal cruelty case. Animal control officers requested a criminal investigation after they discovered two young horses at the fairgrounds.

They were abandoned in a small stall without food or water. Investigators said one horse was in need of immediate veterinary attention while the other was found extremely dehydrated.
