Cookie, a 2-year-old beagle, was allegedly shot by neighbor Gerald Thieman.  A bullet hole was found near the dog's chest. The animal had been shot, apparently with a pellet gun. Vet's X-rays showed the dog had been shot at least 3 other times with lead pellets fired from air-powered rifles or pistols.
