Vandalia, OH (US)

County: Montgomery

Disposition: Alleged

Authorities said a Vandalia woman is in trouble with the law after leaving her dogs outside in the bitter cold temperatures. Animal Control officers went to the home on Stop Eight Road on December 20, 2005 after neighbors complained that the dogs had been out all night.

Officers said the dogs had no access to food or water. The woman said the dogs belong to her son who is a truck driver and is seldom home. She is now facing charges that include neglect.
