A Pasco puppy is in Animal Control custody after two of his littermates froze to death. Animal Control says anytime it drops below 30-degrees outside, your animals will be in trouble...now they're looking for a new home for the puppy that survived.

Animal Control says police are investigating a case of animal cruelty after two puppies froze to death. The one puppy that is still alive is on the thin side, but animal control says he has been eating. They'll give him some vaccinations and put him up for adoption. Animal Control says anyone with outdoor pets needs to be extremely cautious this winter.

"While it's this cold, they need to have good shelter or bring them into your houses. It's a gross misdemeanor, it's a criminal citation for any of these animals to die by being frozen to death outside so they need proper shelter," said Bruce Young with Tri-City Animal Control.
