On August 5, 2005, the ASPCA announced the arrest of Ms Jensie Galloway, 54, of Brooklyn, Ny., for animal cruelty.

Galloway is responsible for severely neglecting her pet dog, a lhasa apso. The dog was removed by agents after being found to be suffering from a variety of health problems that the owner had failed to address. The dog was treated at the ASPCA's Bergh memorial Animal Hospital and has made a full recovery.
